Carat appoints global leader to level up its flagship status in the industry

Today, Carat, a dentsu company, announced that Anna Campbell has been promoted to Global Managing Director of Carat, following her successful tenure as Global Client President. In her new role, designed to solidify the strength of the agency she will work alongside Fiona Lloyd – Carat's Global Brand President. Anna will be responsible for the operational leadership of the global organisation, supporting Fiona in ensuring the agency continues to deliver excellence at a global scale for both clients and the Carat workforce around the globe.  

Day-to-day she will oversee the people, brand, financial and product processes for the Global teams, as well as connecting the 120+ in-market Carat teams to deliver on the agency’s newly launched pioneering proposition and ambition. 

Anna’s leadership will focus on reinforcing Carat’s position as a destination brand, attracting top talent across the industry. She will continue her strategic leadership across her portfolio of accounts, maintaining a commitment to client relationships while driving Carat’s global initiatives forward. 

With 30 years of experience in media, Anna has a strong background in managing local, regional, and global client relationships. She has led multi-million-dollar global and regional pitches and supported local markets to achieve their goals. Her notable career achievements include being named in Campaign’s inaugural 40 Over 40 in 2021, appearing on The Drum’s BD 100 list, and serving on the IPA New Business & Marketing Group Committee. She began her career in UK TV buying, spent five years in Vienna, and returned to the UK to focus on global client leadership. Most recently, she has overseen global relationships with major clients such as Vodafone and IKEA.
